I am available for session drumming! UPDATE: REST IN PIECE JOEY! Back to the roots: This is a drum cover of SlipKnots "The Blister Exists" from the album "Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses". Although I am not the huge Slipknot fan anymore that I used to be 15 years ago, I will forever appreciate the impact they had on me and basically my whole musical career, if you can call it that. They were the first band that got me into more extreme music and drumming and Joey Jordison was a huge idol and influence for me back then. This one was tough to play because the album was recorded without metronome making it easy to mess up. You can witness my struggle at a few points in the video, haha. Tempo is around 190 bpm. I tried to emulate Slipknot&dry and punchy sound of that album as much as possible, doubling the two iconic snare-parts of that song with an additional snare (as you can see in the video) which was pretty interesting to do.
