If you&looking for the wah comparison, head straight to 30:47. Other main timing / section guides are below... Back in early 2018 we did a wah-wah show and promised a follow up… not least because we didn’t include the best-selling, most common wah of the last 25 years, maybe more: the Dunlop Crybaby Standard, GCB-95. The next most common question concerns classic Fuzz Face-type fuzz pedals, buffers and pedalboard order, so we crawl through all of that to see what we can learn. What you see is as it happens… including the realisation that the modern GCB95 seems to be true bypass… which it never was back when this was all fields. No doubt some info on that will come out in the next few days via the comments section. It’s a source of potential confusion in this video because Dunlop also makes myriad other Crybaby wahs including the GCB95F Classic. We are just double-triple checking (update later today) that it was definitely definitely the GCB95 Original Crybaby mode in this video and not the GCB-95F Crybaby Classic. We don’t think it was… Eventually... we then get on to comparing the basic tones of some of the best wah-wahs currently on the market. No, we don’t use any optical or digital wahs. This is one of those examples of when Dan and I aren’t going to engage in stuff we don’t know much about and will never use. Enjoy! Pedals in this episode… • TheGigRig Three2One • Dunlop GCB-95 Crybaby Original Wah • Fulltone Clyde Standard • ProAnalog Devices SupaQuack Wah •...
