1964 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe - CSX9114

This is the story of CSX9114 - a Continuation 9000 Series 1964 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe. Designed by Peter Brock of Shelby American, the Cobra Coupe was the first US built car to win the FIA World Championship in 1965. The classic lines influenced many designs over the years. I was fortunate to meet the legend and his wife not too long ago. I sent CSX9114 home to Dad - Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) where Peter and his team added his personal touches to the car.
