It makes them accessible online from any device, and with that it makes you able to edit them remotely, share it with other people, and on top of that it allows you to arrange collaborative work on the documents with other people online. Currently Google Drive supports editing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and even PDF files. In this video we upload and start editing them. UPLOADING DOCS AND FOLDERS I have prepared 4 documents to download onto Google Drive and then edit them. It is Excel sheets, PDF file, PowerPoint Presentation and Word Document. Basically uploading them is performed either from the menu on Google Drive, or simply "drag and drop" the file from a computer. On the top left on the drive we press the “New” button → the menu unfolds, and we need either “File upload”, or a “folder upload”. At first I am uploading single file - pressing on the "File Upload", it opens the explorer, where I locate the file, double clicking on it and it’s getting uploaded. Or drag and drop a file, or a folder from a PC, which you can do by just opening the explorer on a computer, locating the file and just dropping right on the drive. The...
