Squier vs Fender Precision Bass - A sound comparison

Does a cheap Squier Affinity bass sound very different from a Fender bass? There are many versions and copies of the old Precision bass available, quite a few from the Fender company and many from other manufacturers. In this video I demonstrate the sound of two P-basses, the Fender American Standard and the Squier (by Fender) Affinity. I thought it would be interesting to pick the most affordable Squier and an American made Fender. Both are recorded with exactly the same EQ and same brand new strings to make a fair comparison. Listen through good speakers or headphones, the built in speakers of a laptop or phone will not do.
