Tying the Partridge and Yellow

This is a great general nymph pattern which can imitate anything from caddis pupae to spiders. Caddis nymphs often have a darker head and thorax, so I like to use a darker thread for the head. In my opinion, the Partridge and Yellow borders on being an attractor pattern with the yellow thread or floss body. It&definitely a must have fly when the bite is slow and the fish aren&taking larger flies.
