Hyundai HY3600SEi Generator Starting and Stopping Remotely

On July 23rd, 2013 we took a Hyundai HY3600SEi down to a local car park. We wanted to test how the remote start and stop capability works from distance. To adequately demonstrate this, we needed some sort of markings, so we decided to place the generator a certain number of car parking spaces away. We decided on a distance of around 50ft to try this out, and 6 car parking spaces at just over 8ft each (48ft) was the distance at which we placed the generator and our camera. Then we tested it. The generator fired pretty much instantly and stopped in much the same fashion. At a distance of 14.63m, we were very impressed by how far away the generator started. We&heard a lot about the distance from which you can start this machine and we&happy to say our test, on this machine at least, was a positive experience.
