Tickets are on sale now at: Excerpted from Pink Martini&concert DVD release "Discover the World," this performance was filmed live in concert at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland Oregon on December 31, 2005. "The Gardens of Sampson and Beasley" is a Pink Martini original written by the bandleader Thomas Lauderdale and vocalist China Forbes, inspired by a wondrous and sprawling garden in Sherwood, Oregon, at which the band has performed at several parties. This version features Thomas Lauderdale on the piano, China Forbes on vocals, and The Harvey Rosencrantz Orchestra. The studio recording of the song can be heard on the band&second album "Hang on Little Tomato."
