This is a fantastically rare record I found in a shop recently. Alexander Tsfasman was Russia&first jazz bandleader and pianist who recorded the first jazz records in the USSR in the late 1930s. It&fascinating how the sound sounds stylistically like an American record of 5 or so years previously. This was recorded circa 1938. It also has the original sleeve which is a nice bonus!
