Step-by-step guide to configure your Raspberry Pi to boot from USB first. Before the release of the Raspberry Pi 4, which includes a USB 3.0 controller and significantly faster USB ports, booting from USB was not officially supported. However, with the release of the Raspberry Pi 4, USB boot was added as a feature. This feature provides several benefits, such as faster boot times, improved reliability, and reduced wear and tear on the microSD card, which is the traditional boot medium for Raspberry Pi.
