This guitar is one of the very few in circulation and of those the one with the most striking top. Representing Gibson’s first attempts to reproduce the magic of the burst, these Heritage series guitars were built in the new Nashville factory with more attention being paid to the original specifications. The Heritage Series Standard 80 Les Paul remains mostly true to vintage spec with some subtle variations. Les Paul Heritage Series Standard 1980, medium tea burst tiger striped three-dimensional top, ser.-no. indicates make in 1980, Tim Shaw Humbuckers - date stamp August 6th 1980, factory Grover tuners, excellent condition with period correct 5 latch brown case with pink lining (handle in case), The only not original is the bridge and tailpiece which has been replaced by a Gotoh one.
