The Number 117 in the Hartmann-Logo is actually the Postbox-Number of the Hartmann company. Even if the binoculars produced by Hartmann are not as well known as Zeiss or Swarovski products, they were and still are of excellent quality. The main production lines of binoculars from Hartmann are: 1. Porlerim/Porlerom (1936-1986) in 6x30, 7x35, 7x50, 8x30, 8x40, 8x50, 8x60, 10x40, 10x50, 10x60 and 15x60 2. Bernina (1961-1992) in 7x35, 7x50, 8x30, 8x60, 10x45, 10x50, 10x60, 12x60, 16x60 and 25x80 3.
