Hi friends ! Welcome to the second video on how to mix the free bass VST plugin ABPL 2 designed by AmpleSound. Along with multiband compression (see Part 1), a proper EQ and a simple sidechain will enable you to get professional results in no time ! First, I&share some tips to EQ the low-end properly : between 40 and 120 Hz, the purpose of EQ-ing should be to make sure both the kick and the bass are given enough room to sound properly. In short, it means that whenever you boost a certain range of frequencies for one instrument (say, the bass), you should cut frequencies at the exact same range for the second instrument (say the kick). And last but not least, sidechaining ABPL to your kick will make the former duck whenever the latter hits. Next video will about mixing the master track, which also applies to guitar VST plugins, synths and drums. Cheers, William === Click here to discover how to strum an Ample Sound VST (for beginners) : SUPPORT THE CHANNEL ===
