Rage of Sparta (in-game version) - God of War 3 Soundtrack

This is the main in-game version of OST track "Rage of Sparta". Rage of Sparta can be considered Kratos&theme in God of War 3, and usually plays when defeating important characters and bosses. Specifically, this version plays in the following moments of the game: - Poseidon&death sequence. - When cutting off Gaia&hand with the Blade of Olympus. - Hermes&death sequence. - Final phase of the Hercules fight (when Kratos acquires the Cestus). - Final part of the Cronos level. - Destroyed Chamber of the Flame and Zeus&fight in the rotunda. The Helios encounter features two different versions of the song. First, during the cutscene, the game plays a calmer version that only has strings. Then, when actually killing Helios, the game plays an alternative version of the full song. The Main menu of God of War 3 features a unique version of Rage of Sparta that combines it with the original Kratos&theme from God of War 1. The OST version of the track, which is shorter and non-extended, plays in the end credits. Composed by Gerard Marino.
