Norfolk Island Pine, Araucaria heterophylla, Nursery Stock Slipped into Bonsai Training Pot, Jan202

Araucaria heterophylla, commonly known as Norfolk Island Pine or Living Christmas tree, usually available for purchase at a local hardware store. I’ve heard transforming this tree into bonsai material can be challenging—It’s a slow-grower, not forgiving when root pruning, and doesn’t ramify when pruning.
