Video on how to enable or disable traction control (stability control) on fifth generation of Ford Explorer SUV. Unfortunately there is no traction control button on the dashboard so it has to be done through the vehicle menu. ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | XL | XLT | LIMITED | SPORT | 3.5L | ECOBOOST ). You will be using menu buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Keep pressing down button until you reach Vehicle Settings. Press OK. Now again select Driver Assist and press OK again. Select Traction Control and press OK. Here you can either turn traction control ON or OFF. It is very easy to do. You might want to disable traction control temporarily in case you get stuck in the snow or mud just to get a bit more of traction. Once you are back on the road and in the traffic make sure to enable the traction control. It is an very important safety feature. Thanks for watching.
