JMC VIGUS 5 Launch Video

JMC South Africa have just launched the new Vigus 5. Boasting a bold new face and many exterior changes plus a host of updates and improvements on the interior as well. The high ground clearance is now the same for 4x2 and 4x4 versions which adds to the bold stance of the vehicle. The Ford designed 2.4L Puma engine now puts out 103kW and 310Nm and after a short drive, I can honestly say there is no lack of "oomph" in normal driving conditions. It was also very clear that overall ride has been improved and that even unladen it felt very smooth and comfortable on a rather average but typical SA suburban road. Trying a few traffic circles also showed very light and confident handling. The cabin has been modernised with improved touchscreen and controls plus leather finishes. The big surprise is in the pricing with 4x2 versions retailing at R308 000 and 4x4 at only R365 000.
