SCORE International Baja 1000 (2008) - Every PC Rally Game

SCORE International Baja 1000 by Left Field Productions / Activision, 2008. 2008 saw two competing Baja games released; this one was an arcade style budget game; the other (Baja: Edge of Control) wasn&released on PC in 2008, eventually being ported in the "HD" release in 2017, which we&get to (eventually!). This game is also sometimes known as "SCORE International Baja 1000: World Championship Off Road Racing". It has a fairly bad reputation (partly due to them aping the box art of the other game, which lead to legal repercussions). The game has 8 circuits, representing stages of the Baja, and a range of different vehicles, ranging from bikes to Trophy Trucks. However, the PC version has a few notable issues. Firstly, it runs in a strange way, stretching to fill the screen (despite whatever graphics setting you choose), making it very pixelated on modern high-res screens. This can be improved by running Windows at the same resolution selected in-game (e.g. 1024x768, which I used here). The game does support 1280x720, but seems to stretch the picture badly, making everything circular into ovals! Next up a word about the graphics; if you watch a video of the Xbox 360 version it looks way, way better, with all round better lighting, motion blur, bloom, some tracks are darker and others lighter. On the PC, one track is even missing the clouds/sky, just showing black, when it should be a sunset! Comparing to other ports of the game, this PC version looks closest to the PS2...
