DELAIN Full Concert Live @Underground Lelystad 9-3-2013

For those of you who are new to this band: DELAIN is a Dutch band which is getting more popular by the day in the international Symphonic Metal scene. Their debut album &came out in September 2006, their second album &Rain&came out in March 2009 and their third and latest album &Are The Others&was released in May 2012. In May this year 2013 a release of a new album is planned with a mix of new songs and live songs of the three existing albums, with the title & For me personally the breakthrough came with the third album, where I finally can distinguish a recognizable and catchy &sound. Somehow the third album has opened the road for me to also learn to appreciate the second and first album. DELAIN has a large group of loyal fans who follow the band from the very beginning, and they were right to believe in them from the start. They probably think I was living under a rock because I have only discovered now how awesome DELAIN are haha. Charlotte Wessels has a wonderful mesmerizing voice which sounds very refreshing in the midst of all the &female symphonic metal voices. Martijn Westerholt has proven to be a talented composer and keyboard player, away from under his big brother Robert Westerholt&wings. As for the other three band members Timo, Otto and Sander: watch the video and see how they own the stage and master their instruments.
