How to import a PNG with transparency into blender

Using blender 2.93 if you ever wanted to use a PNG with some transparency in it and always getting black instead of a see true section then these are the steps you need to do. 1. add new material to your model 2. switch to the shading tab at the top of your screen 3. press Shift A and select texture and select image texture 4. once you have the texture node click on the Open and find your PNG Image. now connect the Color to the Base color in the Principled BSDF and do the same for the alpha to the alpha. 5.
