2012-2017 Toyota Camry MAF Sensor Cleaning | One Minute Series

Today, I&be guide you through a quick step-by-step process on how to clean your Mass Air Flow Sensor for your 2012-2017 Toyota Camry in less than two minutes. This specific vehicle is the 2012 Toyota Camry, however the removal and installation should be similar to most Toyota Camry and/or similar vehicles. The removal, cleaning, and installation took less than 5 minutes. If your vehicle has a rough idle or a higher than normal idle RPM, cleaning the MAF sensor may be able to resolve this issue. Most of the time it is very simple to do. The MAF sensor (for vehicles that have it) is located after the air box and before the throttle body. Some vehicles have a MAP sensor (Mass Air Pressure) which calculates the pressure and is usually located on the intake manifold.
