Under the new name, the HaoYue SUV was sent for export, which was launched in the homeland last summer. The design was not changed, but the technique, according to preliminary information, is different - the model acquired a “mild hybrid” version abroad. The three-row Geely HaoYue (“hao-yue”) crossover, the largest SUV in the brand range, entered the Chinese market at the end of June this year. The model has not yet become a hit (by local standards, of course): from June to September, it sold 18,552 copies. For example, Chery Tiggo 8 got almost 13,000 owners last month alone. Maybe that&why Geely forced the export of the cross? Indeed, before, a lot of time usually passed between the debut of a fresh “Chinese” at home and the appearance of a model abroad. Inside, Geely Okavango also probably repeated the SUV available in China, although it is possible that the Filipinos will only be offered a seven-seater version (2 + 3 + 2), while at home the base crossover is a five-seater. The minimum trunk volume has not yet been named, but it is known that with the backs of the second and third rows folded down, this figure is 2360 liters. Three-zone climate control, all-round cameras and six airbags are announced for the Okavango. The arsenal of the top HaoYue in China still includes a panoramic roof, matrix headlights, a virtual instrument cluster, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, an air ionizer, collision avoidance systems, lane departure warning and blind spot...
