N Scale Kato NS SD40-2 with Digitrax SDN144K1E Sound Decoder and Ditch Lights

This project utilizes a Digitrax SDN144K1E decoder for motor control, light functions, and sound. The sound system features a a pair of 10x18mm speaker mounted in the fuel tank. I have added porch-mounted ditch lights to make this model really stand out. Just for fun, I borrowed and sound meter from work to measure this guy. At 10 ft, it produces 40 db; at 3 ft it produces 55 db. The sound file is a custom EMD 645 diesel sound project available from the DigitraxSound yahoo group.
