Cybermage: Darklight Awakening is a first person shooter released in 1995, developed by Origin Systems, published by Electronic Arts and produced by none other than Warren Spector. It is a cyberpunk themed shooter with rpg-ish elements. In the year 2044 AD, world governments have fallen apart and the Earth is ruled by ruthless corporations doing anything for profit. However, rebels are fighting against corporate control all over the planet. You awaken in a laboratory while it is under attack and everyone is out to get you, you have a crystal embedded in your head, and also some evil forces led by NeCrom have taken over the city. Who are you? Why are they chasing you? Cybermage can be described as "Tekwar done right"-ish, while not a great game, as CM is full of jank, at least manages to be functional in everything it tries to do. We have a hub city level, inventory, shops, NPCs that provide you with the plot and the missions, vehicles...
