Yamaha PSR-5700

The PSR-5700 is somewhat rare, and was one of the early flagship models of the high-end PSR series. It came out around 1992, a year after the PSR-6700 (a 76-key version) and a couple of years before the PSR-6000. As such, you can see physical similarities of both models in the PSR-5700. Of course the PSR-6000 was then followed by the PSR-7000, PSR-8000, and PSR-9000 (and then the PSR-9000 Pro, Tyros, etc. while the PSR flagship model numbers started over with the PSR-2000, 2100, 3000, and then again with the PSR-S900 and S910...). I still remember seeing the PSR-5700 for the first time in the music shop when I went in to buy a power supply for the PSR-500 I had just bought at a department store. I was blown away by the number of buttons and features on it (and I had thought the PSR-500 was impressive!). I knew I wanted one, but also knew I could never afford it. Now almost 20 years later the dream has been realized!
