Behringer RD-8 MKII + Behringer Neutron + Arturia Beatstep Pro

This is a recent experiment trying to make the Behringer RD-8 and Neutron work together. The idea was to use the trigger outs on the RD-8 to play and affect parameters of the Neutron. First step was to trigger the Neutron which was straightforward. The next part was to figure out how to set the pitch CV to play. That&where the Beatstep Pro came in with its sequencer. However it was tricky to figure out how to make the pitch CVs of the two compatible. Here&the set up: - RD-8 midi out to Beatstep Pro - RD-8 trigger2 to Neutron gate1 - RD-8 trigger3 to Neutron lfo trigger - Beatstep Pro pitch to Neutron att1 in - Beatstep Pro midi out to Neutron (this is optional) - Neutron att1 out to osc1+2 - Att1 pot helps make the pitch cv more compatible with the Neutron, in the process tunes it also - Beatstep pads can set the root key and can also be used to play the Neutron manually if not using the sequencer #AnalogSynth
