The Capcom CPS 1 was an arcade board used for Capcom arcade games from 1988 to 1995. The most famous game to be used on the Capcom CPS 1 board was Street Fighter II World Champion released in March of 1992. Games, like 1941 Counterstrike, Strider, U.N. Squadron, Carrier Air Wing, Final Fight, Mercs, Nemo, and others used the CPS-1 board as well. The Capcom CPS-2 board was Sept, 1993, and it was in service until December of 2003. The most popular game for this board was Street Fighter II Alpha 2. Mostly 16 bit games were released on it. The Capcom CPS-3 was released in 1996, and it had a fairly powerful 32 bit RISC Hitachi HD6417099 CPU also know as the Hitachi SH-2 CPU. The Sega Saturn was powered by two Hitachi SH-2 processors. The Hitachi SH-2 is still used, but it is produced by Renesas and used as automotive chips. The most popular game on this board was Street Fighter III, and Red Earth. All the games that were published for this board were fighting games, and some of the best fighting games were developed for this board, like Street Fighter III. Not many games were developed for this board, and only six games were published for this board. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ [Links] ♠ CPS 1 ROMS ♠ CPS 2 ROMS ♣...
