She was the daughter of Yaroslav the Wise.So the line possibly connecting our family to her runs through the Hecker family, I think, who came from the Alsace-Lorraine section of France.There were other Frenchmen in the family named Cossarts and others who immigrated to the U.S. in the 1670s.On my father&side, I come from the western Slavs, whose blood ties include Russians. My DNA chart even shows a connection to Siberia.Well, whatever royal blood flows through my veins, certainly the money didn&as both sides of the family come from hard-scrabble farmers. One side tackled the dangerous Indian territory in western Pennsylvania, and the other the steel mills of the Pittsburg area and the grinding, thankless task of farming as well, where money gotten from produce decreased over the first decades of the 20th century.
