Something Bass Cover

I&a big fan of a firmly anchored thumb. I&also a fan of functional and well designed products and, for those reasons, I wanted to post a video featuring my new "Zero-Mod" thumb-rest. I&gotten one for my Ric a while back and was very happy with it. Tim, the owner of Zero-Mod, contacted me and asked if I&evaluate a few prototypes he&designed for the Jazz. He just so happened to go into production with the design that I favored and now I have one on each of my Jazz basses. In the interest of full disclosure, I was given the first one and paid full price for the second. I normally use the neck pick-up as a rest but where I have the height set didn&give me a very comfortable ledge to rest my thumb on which is one of the reasons I removed the pick-guards on both basses - for that extra 1/8th inch of shelf space. Before the rests were installed I rarely played in front of the neck pick-up, but now find myself exploring that area more.
