A key principle of WSL VT combat strategy is the timing and manner of reacting to the opponent&movements. This idea appears in the teaching of this martial art as early as the Siu Lim Tao form, in the movements and mental exercises that prepare for training called lat sau jeet jin. Jin becomes more important in the exercises associated with the Chum Kiu form.
