The New Toyota Crown Kluger has officially made its debut at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show. According to Toyota, the Crown Kluger has a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain with E-Four all-wheel drive, however no other specifics are available at this time. The Crown Kluger is built on Toyota&TNGA-K platform, which also acts as the foundation for the similarly sized Highlander SUV sold in the United States. The three-row, Highlander-based SUV measures 5,015 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, 1,750 mm height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, according to previously spotted homologation paperwork for the Crown Kluger&debut into the China market. The SUV will also be equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, however 20-inch options are also available. The 2021 Highlander for the Chinese market features the same hybrid powertrain and E-Four all-wheel-drive system as the Crown Kluger, as well as three rows of seats. The 2.5 litre hybrid powertrain in the China-market Crown Kluger is rated at 189 horsepower, which is much less than the 240 hp output in the US-market Highlander, which has a comparable powertrain layout. While the headlights are similar on both, the Highlander has a trapezoidal grille with a Toyota logo on a chrome spar towards the top of the grille, and the Crown Kluger has the crown emblem as seen on the big sedan that carries its name. Each model has its own set of wheels. _________________________________________________ Other Videos _________________________________________________...
