**Not my property/not for-profit.** Del-Fi 4300 - The Arvizu Sisters were a trio from East LA comprising sisters Ersi, Rosella, and Mary. According to Mark Guerrero, the sisters came from a musical family, and it was Rosella whom Billy Cardenas initially spotted performing at Garfield High School Sports Night. Cardenas recruited the other two Arvizu sisters and The Sisters was born. A number of local groups, including The Premiers, backed The Sisters when playing live, and it is known that on this single (their second) they were backed by Ronnie & The Pomona Casuals. After just a couple of years and three singles, The Sisters broke up in late 1966, with the sisters continuing to perform together and separately. Rosella continued with Ronnie & The Casuals and in the last several decades has performed ranchera music. Ersi performed at different times with El Chicano, The Village Callers, and an early incarnation of Tierra. Mary became involved in her religious community. Most recently, Ersi participated in Ry Cooder&Chavez Ravine project. The sisters reunited as La Chicana & Her Revue (featuring former El Chicano guitarist Mickey Lespron) and they continue to perform occasionally. **This is a direct vinyl transfer, straight from the platter to the line-in on my Tascam digital recorder, saved as a 24-bit .WAV file, and synced to the video.** Always #Ortofon
