[4K] Driving in Norway: Riksvei 13 from Nesvik to Sand - Norwegian Fjords Scenic Drive

In this video you can drive along on Riksvei 13 from the ferry docks of Nesvik to the town of Sand. Riksvei 13 is one of the most scenic national roads in Norway with a length of about 450 kilometers. It cuts through the heart of the western Norwegian fjords and passes many waterfalls and other natural beauty. The crossover to Nesvik by ferry was our first Norwegian car ferry experience. It went really smooth and the ferry is very modern with a nice seating area from which you can enjoy the views of the fjord as you enjoy a coffee / snack. Although scenic, the Riksvei 13 can sometimes be a bit tricky to drive. We were lucky with the weather, but in pouring rain or in winter times I could imagine it gets difficult. You can see how the road goes from its original wide alignment to narrower sections where the landscape gets challenging. It&generally a first-come-first-serve situation on the narrow sections, but you can&always see around the corner.
