Powerful Cyclone Marcia bears down on QLD - Update 3 (00:30 AEST, 20/02/2015)

Cyclone Marcia has continued to intensify at a menacing pace, and is likely to make landfall in Queensland as a Category 4 storm on both the Saffir Simpson Hurricane Scale and the Australian Scale, with sustained winds of at least 130mph. Those near the landfall area should prepare for the worst. The storm is likely to be accompanied by a significant storm surge, and a large part of Queensland is under warnings. The remnants of the storm may strike Brisbane.
