For anyone interested in anchoring this video is quite useful. It shows how to make a special figure 8, the figure 9, the figure 8 with 2 tails, the figure 8 with 3 tails, etc. This is the strongest knot possible to tie into a climbing rope that I am aware of (destructively tested by a personal friend at somewhere around 80% of original rope strength), and it equalizes the anchor points- as many anchor points as you have, although the optimal number of anchor points is 2 or 3 for the knot. Know how to tie anchors, and ground anchors (which are directional, but opposite) before rope soloing!!!
