It was founded in 1998 in Rostov-on-Don The original line-up of the band consisted of Sergey Pimenov, Alexander Polyakov and Roman Korzhov, from the first letters of their surnames the name "PPK" was formed. A few days after the creation Roman left the band, thus forming a duo[2]. In 2001-2002 PPK released their most popular compositions "ResuRection" ("Resurrection") and "Reload" ("Reload").
