2025 Subaru Outback | The current model features a car-like ride combined with SUV capabilities. All models come with Subaru&Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, active torque vectoring, vehicle dynamics control, and X-MODE with hill-descent control. The Outback has 8.7 inches of standard ground clearance, which beats many SUVs. This helps make the rugged vehicle truly outdoor-ready, especially in Wilderness trim, which has even more ground clearance. We don&expect this to change much in the upcoming redesign. We also expect the 2025 Outback to come with the same 2.5-liter engine, though we hope it&tuned to make a bit more power than the current model&182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a standard CVT with 8-speed manual shift mode and steering wheel paddle shift control switches.
