I wanted to setup my own Home Assistant on my QNAP Server but I couldn&find any good guides or videos online so I created my own video tutorial to do so. In this video I show step by step how to download the Container Station, download the Home Assistant image and deploy the container. ***Disclaimer*** - This version does not include regular updates or add ons, please see the video below on Virtualization as those features are included in that setup tutorial. Virtualization Setup: Steps: 1) Download Container Station from the App Center 2) Search for Home Assistant from Create tab and click on Docker hub tab 3) Select the stable version 4) Name the container 5) Under Advanced Options, click on the network tab, and change Network mode to Host 6) In the Shared Folders tab, add a volume from host and create a local config folder, and mount point "/config" 7) Click Create and wait for it to deploy 8) Type "`Your QNAP IP or Domain`:8123" 9) Setup a local user, go through the general setup and select your preferences 10) Add any devices it detects on your network Links: Home Assistant Website: QNAP Servers: #deploy
