The NatureHike Cloud Up 2Ultralight Backpacking tent seems at first glance a very competitive tent comparable in weight to the MSR Hubba Hubba and at a fraction of the price. The company seem to have fine-tuned this double layer tent to give you an ultralight and easy to use 2 man tent, modifying the faults that had let it down in the past, such as adding fixed points to the side to add strength in high winds and also by extra ventilation to decrease the amount of condensation build up. Here we take a close first look at the tent, and all of its components, and compare it to the tents and tarps that we have been using, like the DD Hammock Ultralight Tarp and the Vango Banshee 200. We will be doing more tests out on the field in future so be sure to subscribe to Summit or Nothing to see how it fairs.
