How To: Remove and Replace Oil Pan on First Gen Nissan Xterra VG33E (Replacing Oil Pan Step 3)

So you removed the steering system...the differential...the starter...and now you are at the oil pan. Here are my tips for removing and replacing the VG33E Nissan Xterra / Frontier oil pan. Note: This video stops right before I actually seal and install the oil pan. There are tons of videos about the generic use of RTV and sealants. Follow the instructions for whichever sealant you want to use. I focus more on the VG33E specifics for getting the oil pan out. Once the pan is out, the process is just like any other RTV sealant job.
