He was born as Frans Zimmer in Berlin, Germany. After he finished high school he wanted to study art but was not admitted to university. After working varioius odd jobs he began to dj in 2010 and took the name &Farben&(meaning hundred colors) inspired by the German artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser before he changed it to &Farben&(all colors). In 2014 he released his debut album &- I think in colours&after his first single &Moves&reached the Top 10 of the German Single Charts and reached also charts of German speaking countries like Austria and Switzerland, as well as Belgium, Netherlands and Spain. In 2015 he featured alongside Anna Naklab and YOUNOTUS and scored his biggest charthit until this day as &a cover song of Reamonns 2000s hit, reached in Germany and in Austria. In 2016 he released his 2nd album &Is My Best Friend&which again reached in Germany with the single &Tell Rosie&peaking at in Germany and in Austria. These are my favorite 10 tracks so far.
