Grieg - Holberg Suite, Op. 40, no. 4, Air (Andante religioso) - Cyprien Katsaris Piano

In 1884, Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) composed the Holberg Suite to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Ludwig Holberg&birth. It is comprised of 5 movements originally written for piano solo and in the "olden style." Grieg also arranged the suite for string orchestra in 1885. This is the 4th movement of the suite.
