Embudu is a small hotel resort island of the Maldives at the northern edge of the South Malé Atoll, only 20-25 minutes by speedboat from the airport. It measures about 380×190 meters (about 415x207 yards). The resort has 106 accommodations, 16 of which are in water bungalows. Embudu as a barefoot island offers coconut palms, and fine sandy beaches. There is no pool or animation on Embudu. The island is surrounded by a lagoon with a house reef.
