Xiegu X6100 crashing with high pitch sound (bug or hardware issue?) - READ DESCRIPTION

I&having some problems with my X6100. This is happening apparently only when receiving big signals. I always noticed random buggy behaviors (once a week, not more often) but in the last days this is happening every 3-4 minutes. Basically while receiving (not in TX!) the radio freezes emitting an high pitch noise. The audio and the waterfall get stuck but other menus can be opened. I was on the January version so I updated the fw, but the issue is still appearing even with the latest firmware and after several factory resets. The only fix is unplugging the radio from external source (if connected), and trying to do a base fw update. The radio will notice that no external power is connected and will reboot the radio to prevent updates without external power (normal behavior), temporarily solving the issue. Any of you is experiencing the same problem? Thanks!
