Fender passport 150

I knew if I looked long enough I&finally get a good deal on a PA system! A friend of mine was at an auction with me and happened to mention he just picked up a FENDER PASSPORT 150 PA SYSTEM. hadn&got a chance to test it or look it up (Yeah right) Anyway, I bought it from him and when I plugged it in... Nothing! After trying a few things I simply pressed the cord in a little harder and wiggled it, I heard an electrical crackle noise and the thing lit up.
