OFF GRID SAUNA - Alaskan Log Cabin (Log Handrails) Part 3

Welcome to my remote sauna project! In this video I am building a set of log handrails at the stairs and around the high part of the deck. The logs are our native spruce. I am installing them green and will allow them to dry in place. Late next summer I will sand them and give them a coat of penetrating log oil. I am not installing a lower rail because it would make it more difficult to shovel the snow off the deck. If I change my mind I can always add one later. For now we&just stick with the top rail. As always, I want you to experience the sights and sounds of my Alaska as if you were here working alongside me. This is amazing country, there is no place on earth I would rather be. Peace.
