TORNADO EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2015 - 4TH DAY OF COMPETITION

The Tornado European Championship is over Tornado catamaran European Championship, Drama till the last second! Historically the first Tornado European Championship taking place in the Czech Republic comes to an end. We were gifted to receive an anticipated stronger wind thanks to the passing front over the Czech territory. Throughout the day we received winds ranging from 10 to 15 knots coming from North-East, permitting the race committee and sailors to complete 2 races out of 3 planned. The 3rd race could not be sailed due to very shifty wind. This year’s European Championship was dominated by moderate winds with more extreme conditions in the final days. The 47th European Championship taking place at Lipno lake, Czech Republic, was conquered by Nahid Gaebler and Roland Gaebler, GER 1. The title of Vice-champions went to Iordanis Paschalidis a Konstantine Trigkonis, GRE 7. The third place in the absolute ranking was well deserved by Nikolas Mavros a Alexandros Tagaropoulos, GRE 11.
