Most Dangerous Railroad Job In The World!! Conductor Riding Rear Of Train Reversing At Speed!!

Most dangerous railroad job in the world! You could not pay me to ride the end of a boxcar on a reversing train like this, especially through a railroad crossing that I have filmed cars running around the gates. Railroad switching and railway shunting on American short line railroad Cincinnati Eastern Railroad CCET! This railroad has been my favorite since the 1970s when I was a kid visiting a farm along the mainline near Milford. This is an ex Norfolk & Western Railway line from Cincinnati to Portsmouth, Ohio. Today it is owned by Norfolk Southern and leased to CCET. CCET leases 69+ route miles and the rest of the line is out of service. At this time the line is only open to Seaman, Ohio due to severe washouts just east of there. The train in this video is seen taking empty hopper cars to Winchester Ag Services and returning with loaded grain hoppers and loaded scrap metal cars from Cohen Recycling. The train is seen at a few locations including backing across Curliss Rd to work Huhtamaki Batavia. Recorded in 15 degree weather on Valentines&Day, February 14, 2020. Thanks for watching!
