Jeanette Jenkins here and we’re about to kick some butt in this kickboxing bootcamp workout. I want you to listen to your body and do the best you can. I’ll give you modifications throughout the workout, but if you get too tired, don’t overdo it. Also, remember that you’re kicking air, so don’t go too hard and lock up your joints. We’re going to start with some jogging and arm circles. Then, we warm up our quads and hips with some knee lifts and soft front kicks. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and you’d be amazed at how many people injure themselves doing cardio kickboxing. So this is a reminder to make sure you’re not jamming into your joints. Stay in control of your movement and keep a nice flow going. Remember that today, we don’t stop at kickboxing. We’re going to do push-ups and jumping jacks as well. I can guarantee that you won’t be bored during this workout! I know it can be tiring, but hang in there with me! You’re doing great!
