Boerboel and Bullmastiff. Two beautifull mastiff type of dogs, that are very similar together. At least on the first sight. But there are important differences and we will talk about them in this video. SHORT BOERBOEL DESCRIPTION: The Boerboel is a large, muscular dog showing strength and agility in motion. This breed is also intelligent enough to recognize danger, courageous enough to face it, and cautious enough to stay clear. The jaws are particularly strong. The coat is short but dense. The Boerboel is well pigmented to protect against the African sun. The Boerboel is agile for his size and can be energetic, especially when young. Activities in which this breed tends to excel (health permitting, of course) can include agility, obedience trials, protection sports, rally, therapy visits, weight pulling and working stock. The Boerboel is best suited to a home with a securely fenced yard. He should never be allowed to roam free. SHORT BULLMASTIFF DESCRIPTION: This nearly square breed is powerful and active, a combination of strength, endurance, and alertness. The Bullmastiff appears to be 60 percent Mastiff and 40 percent Bulldog. This dog’s gait is smooth and powerful, but the angulation is moderate. The coat is short and dense, and the expression keen and alert. Bullmastiffs are gentle and affectionate with family members.
